| Nancy's parents invited us to the Kodak Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, for the first time, in 1992. I met a balloon pilot on the airplane on the way to the fiesta. Earl Buzzard invited me meet him at his launch site, and he would show me a little about how a hot air balloon worked. I was there the next morning, and each morning of the fiesta that year. Hooked. I've been a member of Earl's team since. The balloon is the BUZZARD'S ROOST, and I've flown in it, helped launch and catch it, and photographed it, (as well as hundreds of others) in 3 states and numerous locations since. Earl has become a best friend, and it was Earl from whom I obtained the 1970 Bronco that is now The 4XNURSE. This page is where you will find my balloon pictures. The Buzzard's Roost will be a prominent figure in a lot of these pictures, however since the KAIBF features over 1000 balloons each year you will see a lot of others as well.
Here's the Buzzard's Roost And here is the Buzzard's Roost with a few of her friends: And a few more friends - Did I mention friends?
